What is propolis anyway?

Propolis (bee glue) is a dark brown and glue-like substance with a 100% natural origin. Honey bees make propolis from the buds and resins of trees and plants. They then take it to the hive, where it is used as protection against micro-organisms, bacteria and viruses. But also to cover holes and crevices in the hive or hive. It acts as a natural barrier, so to speak. Raw propolis consists of approximately:

  • 50% resins
